Stratego, a consulting firm specializing in reputation and sustainability, organized a breakfast, which addressed the theme "Towards the Path of Sustainability”, in order to share with clients and media, best practices and lessons learned on sustainable infrastructure and carbon footprint reduction.

In recent years the word "sustainable development" has taken on greater significance in the language of economics, political and social world. This is defined by the United Nations as "development that meets present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs." Sustainable development integrates economic goals, making social and environmental interdependent and mutually reinforced.
The performance of companies, in relation to the society in which it operates and its impact on the environment, has become a critical part to measure the ability of these companies to continue operating effectively.
The breakfast was attended by Johann Gathmann, who has 30 years of international experience in the energy sector and climate, and who is now director of GGK Energy and associate consultant Stratego, through its business unit of sustainability.

Gathmann said in his keynote address that "the perception one has of a company's performance on social responsibility and its actual performance, may influence each other things: competitive advantage, its reputation, its ability to attract and retain talent and clients to maintain motivation, commitment, loyalty and productivity of employees, the perception of shareholders and investors and their relationships with governments, media, suppliers, competitors, customers and the community where it operates. "
The meeting was useful to get to know the latest international trends in this field as well as to consult on examples of models of good corporate practices and the urgency of its implementation today.
